Again there is an open house from noon until complete with food and beverage stations.
Transportation from the hotel to the Jenkin’s home will be provided, please plan on using this rather than driving individually, their home is in a gated community and using the provided transportation will make everything much easier (not to mention you can partake in adult beverages with no worries).
Please RSVP for the weekend including your arrival date and the special events as soon as possible if you plan to attend as Don is ordering food, beverages, shirts, caps and mugs.

Former Golder Knights, Chris Needels and Jerry Bourquin were inducted into the National Skydiving Museum's Hall of Fame on October 11, 2014 in Fayetteville, NC. The event also paid tribute to the Golden Knights as a unit.

|The Golden Knights, Chris Needels and Jerry Bourquin will be honored
at this year's Hall of Fame Induction and Tribute event in Fayetteville/Raeford the
weekend of October 9-12, 2014.
The weekend includes activities of all types, including wind tunnel time, golfing, competitions, receptions, and much more.

|The Golden Knights Alumni Association is sponsoring the Second Annual Poker Run as a fundraiser. We welcome all bikers.
Date: May 10, 2014.
Starting at the Speakeasy, 3983 Sycamore Dairy Rd, Fayetteville, the first bike goes out at 11:00am. The last bike in will be by 5:00pm.
The entry fee is $25.00 and includes an event t-shirt. Registration starts at 9am. There are many great prizes. There will be free music, a 50-50 raffle, door prizes and great food!

|February 9, 2016||Robert "Bob" Peterson|
|Bob Peterson passed away on February 9, 2016 after a short illness. Bob served on the Team for most of the period between 1966-1977. Here is Bob's obituary. It includes information about his celebration of life on April 9, 2016.
Robert Peterson of Clearlake Oaks, California passed away February 9, 2016 at their winter getaway in Arizona. Bob was born in Camden New Jersey on December 5, 1938.
He spent a large part of his life serving his country. Part of the 22 years he spent in the Army was spent in Vietnam. It was in the Army that he fell in love with parachuting and competed throughout the world as a member of the Golden Knights Parachute Team.
Bob was a pastor for the Universal Life Church. After retiring from the Army he remained active in the community as a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose for over 25 years. While in the MOOSE he served as the governor and as a Legionnaire. Bob was also a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Bob loved to travel and enjoyed their winter getaway in Arizona. Just as the weather would start to chill in California he would become a snow bird and head to Arizona.
Bob is survived by his wife June, six children, nine grandchildren and one great-grand daughter.

Jim Anderson passed away on October 23, 2015. Jim was the third Team Commands of the USAPT. Team members visited him earlier in the year which was a highlight for the Team.
Arrangements for the memorial are scheduled for sometime in 2016 (TBD).

|Corey Hood died on August 16, 2015 after a mid-air collision with another jumper during the Chicago Air and Water Show. The other jumper, a Navy Leap Frog, is expected to recover fully.

Produced by the US Army, circa 1961, this episode of "The Big Picture" is a real treasure.
It features the first commander of the USAPT, CPT James Perry, and footage of many of
our original teammates.
